"I'm A Physician"

My Children are Nearsighted Too • Jan. 11, 2009 1:33 PM

My two sons, Frank and James, started wearing glasses in first grade.  A little bit over six years ago, my older son, Frank started wearing corneal reshaping lenses.  But, he wasn't able to see well during the day.  After struggling for 2 years, we changed eye doctors.  Withing a few weeks his vision improved significantly!  Frank plays tennis, golf, and swims like other children without glasses or contact lenses.

Shortly afterwords,   I brought James to try the treatment.  It took him a while to learn and care for his lenses.  Now both boys enjoy sports without worrying about eyeglasses or contact lenses.

There are no words to express my thanks.  I am a physician and I highly recommend considering corneal reshaping treatment to parents whose children wear eyeglasses or contact lenses.
